Settings
The Account Settings area in Scramble Cloud allows users to manage personal information, strengthen security, track login activity, and control privacy preferences. This section is divided into four key tabs: Personal, History, Master Key, and Settings.
1. Personal
You can open the settings under your profile picture via “My Account”.

In the Personal tab, users can update their personal details and credentials:
Username: Display name associated with the account.
Email Address: Main login and notification email.
Password: Users can set a new password and must confirm it before saving.
First Name / Last Name
Date of Birth / Nationality
Changes can be saved by clicking “Save profile.”
Password strength is visually indicated during entry.
2. History
The History tab displays session activity and login history for account monitoring:
IP Address: Origin of the session.
Country / Browser / System: Device information for each login.
Login Activity: Timestamp of access.
Status: Indicates whether the session is currently active.
You can:
Filter sessions by time range (e.g., last 30 days, 6 months or years)
Terminate all active sessions remotely for security purposes.
3. Master Key
The master key is the security key for your account. When you loose your master key you will not be able to restore your password and your account.
The master key is one of the most basic components of your own cloud. It serves as the most important component, when it comes to the security of your data.
The master key is hidden by default and can be revealed by clicking “Show Master Key.”
This key is essential for the protection of your data and serves as the basis for decrypting your private files.
If you're ever having trouble logging in with an account, you'll need the master key to generate a new password. Without this, you will not be able to restore your login information.
Important: Losing access to your master key may result in permanent loss of access to your encrypted data.
4. Settings
In the Settings tab, you can configure core security and privacy preferences.
Security
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Strengthens login security by requiring a second factor during authentication.Status is clearly shown (e.g., Enabled)
Options: Disable or view additional information
Privacy
Users can manage the visibility of personal details within the platform:
Hide email address
Hide name
Hide date of birth
Hide country
These settings allow for greater anonymity, especially when sharing content with others.
Summary
The Scramble Cloud Account Settings section gives users complete control over their identity, access, and security. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA and saving your Master Key in a secure location.
